Two people are facing charges following an incident this past Friday afternoon in Kenton.

 

According to the Kenton Police Department report, officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Cooper Street to investigate a report about a verbal argument between a male and female.

 

At the scene, officers arrested 39 year old Joshua Spencer for a warrant out of the Allen County Sheriff’s Office.

 

He and 33 year old Alisha Wynegar issued a summons for possessing drug abuse instruments.

 

Officers seized numerous drug abuse items at the scene.

A man was arrested over the weekend following a domestic disturbance between a boyfriend and girlfriend.

 

According to the report, officers were dispatched to Room 27 at the B & J Motel on a report about the incident.

 

At the scene, 39 year old Daniel Stetson, of Troy, was arrested. 

 

He’s been charged with domestic violence and resisting arrest.

 

The victim suffered a possible internal injury.

A Kenton woman was arrested following a domestic disturbance that was reported to Kenton Police to start the weekend.

 

According to the report, officers were dispatched to the incident at Grape and Columbus Streets.

 

After an investigation, the suspect, identified as 25 year old Brianna Newsome, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence.

 

The victim suffered apparent minor injuries.

A Kenton woman reported being the victim of a theft or scam.

 

According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, the woman told officers about the incident by phone.

 

The stolen item was a Thomas Kinkade painting with a value of $1700.

 

The incident is under investigation.

A theft at Save-A-Lot was reported to Kenton police on Sunday.

 

According to the report, officers were dispatched to the store Sunday morning in reference to the incident.

 

Officers were told someone stole change from a soft drink vending machine that sits on the west of the building.

 

The theft occurred sometime between Friday evening to Sunday morning.

 

The incident is under investigation.
