Warrant Issued for Arrest of Findlay Armed Robbery Suspect

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a suspect wanted in an armed robbery that occurred this past Monday morning in Findlay.

 

According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, a warrant has been issued for the arrest of 27 year old Kip Allen Wright, of Findlay. He is wanted on a charge of aggravated robbery.

 

The suspect allegedly entered the Exxon store on Fostoria Avenue, produced a handgun and demanded money. An employee was struck in the face by a handgun as he walked to the cash register. He suffered injury to his mouth and upper lip.

 

The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

 

Findlay Police are asking for assistance in locating Wright.

A reward may be issued through Crime Stoppers for information that leads to Wright’s arrest.
