Walk with a Doc to Take Place

OhioHealth Hardin Memorial Hospital and the OSU Extension Agency has partnered to provide a walking program for the community, Walk with a Doc.
Walk with a Doc which is an hour long program, begins with a brief presentation on a current health topic. After the presentation, participants spend the rest of the hour enjoying a healthy indoor walk with the provider allowing them to ask questions. The program is free and open to the public of all ages and abilities.
The next program is scheduled for Monday, March 2 at 5:30 p.m. with Dr. Niren Patel, our community’s new cardiologist talking about cholesterol.
The event will take place at the Kenton Elementary School on a monthly basis. No registration is necessary but regular attendance is encouraged. Those participants who attend regularly will receive a t-shirt after 3 sessions and more incentives will be announced as the program continues.
