Vote by Mail Ballot Requests Must be Made by April 25

Written by on April 1, 2020

Last week, Ohio lawmakers approved a plan for an all mail-in Primary Election that will run through April 28.

For the first time in Ohio, there will be no traditional, in-person Election Day voting in this cycle due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Vote by mail ballots must be requested by April 25 and returned to the Hardin County Board of Elections Office by April 28.

Voters can obtain absentee ballots two ways:

Applications for Absentee Ballots can be found on the Hardin County Board of Elections website where you can download and print the application and mail it to the Board of Elections office.

A drop box is also being set up at the Board of Elections, where the application can be placed.

The office will then mail the ballot to you.

You can also call the office at 419-674-2211 to request an application to be mailed to you.
