A vehicle that was reported stolen in Kenton Thursday morning was found wrecked in Wyandot County.
According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, the owner of the 2006 Chevy Silverado pickup said the truck was taken from his residence sometime during the previous overnight hours.
At just before 3 Thursday morning, a Wyandot County Sheriff’s deputy on patrol discovered a pickup sitting on the west side of County Highway 95.
According to that report, the vehicle had travelled off the road and struck a power pole coming to rest facing southbound.
It appeared by footprints that two subjects exited the vehicle and walked to the road where they fled the area.
The incident remains under investigation.
