USV Parents Being Urged to Keep Sick Students Home
Written by WKTN Staff on January 8, 2020
To help stop the spread of the flu among students and staff, Upper Scioto School has issued a guideline reminder.
If a student has a fever above 99, they must stay home from school.
The students must be free from fever, vomiting and diarrhea for 24 hours.
The fever must be gone without the need for tylenol of ibuprofen.
If a parent calls the school and says the child has a fever, they will be marked as ill.
Present an excuse from their physician’s office, urgent care or ER, and the student will be excused as a medical absence.
