Upper Sandusky Man Arrested for Assaulting Girlfriend

An Upper Sandusky man was arrested Sunday for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.
According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, deputies met with the victim at Wyandot Memorial Hospital and were told while she was in the car with Scott A. Moyer, he began to punch her in the face several times.
When she tried to get out of the vehicle at a stop sign, the victim said Moyer grabbed her by the back of her hair and slammed her head against the dashboard several times. At one point, she said Moyer began choking her which caused her to black out.
Moyer was located in Upper Sandusky and was taken into custody.
He was transported to the Wyandot County Jail on a charge of assault.
