Upper Sandusky defeated Marion Pleasant 4-1 in weekend girls soccer game.

Goal notes:

.On Upper Sandusky’s first goal, Lindsay Weininger found Anna Gerber in the middle of the field, who switched the field to Riley Messersmith, who beat her defender and the goalkeeper to begin the scoring.

.Following a direct kick by goalkeeper Cortni Brown, Mia Norris hit Weininger on the outside, who proceeded to cross the ball into Janeli Lopez, who laid it off to Messersmith for the finish.

.Norris began the scoring in the second half for Upper Sandusky, when she gathered a Pleasant goal kick just outside the penalty area, and then proceeded to beat a defender and the goalkeeper.

.On Upper Sandusky’s final goal, Brooke Swavel sent a long ball cross to Hannah Windau, who then split two defenders for the goal.

.Pleasant’s lone score came when Maddie King beat an Upper Sandusky defender and scored on the Lady Rams’ backup goalkeeper.
