Unemployment Rates Drop Around the Region

Ohio’s unemployment rate was 4.1 percent in March, down from 4.6 percent in February.

 

According to a release from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Hardin County’s unemployment rate was 3.8 percent in March, down from February’s 4.2 percent.

 

In our region, the unemployment rate in Wyandot County is 3%, 2.9% in Hancock COunty, 3.9% in Allen County, 2.9% in Auglaize County, 3.4% in Logan County, 2.9% in Union County and 4% in Marion County.

 

The U.S. unemployment rate for March was 3.9 percent, up slightly from 3.8 percent in February.
