Two people were sentenced recently in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

According to the documents from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s Office:

.Joshua P. Meekins was sentenced to 12 months in prison on one count of escape.

Since the offense occurred while on post release control from an earlier case, and given his extensive criminal history, Meekins was sentenced to an additional just over two years for a total sentence of just over three years in prison.

.Brandon A. Oates was placed on five years community control on one count each of possession of fentanyl related compound and trafficking in fentanyl related compound.

Both cases were heard by Judge Scott Barrett.
