Two armed robberies occurred in Findlay Monday night and early this morning.

According to releases from the Findlay Police Department, at around 9:45 last night, two black male suspects entered a house at 117 and a half Howard Street and brandished semi automatic handguns.

The two demanded the combination to a safe, and when they failed to get that, they fled the house with the safe.

Then around 6:15 this morning, a black male suspect entered the Mobile Gas Station in the 1300 block of North Main Street, where he is said to have produced a semi automatic handgun and demanded cash.

The clerk complied, and the suspect fled the area with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect in that robbery was described as about 5’6” tall and approximately 150 lbs.  He had a mustache or possibly a beard and was wearing a longer black hooded coat, grey sweatpants and tan work boots.

His face was partially covered with a light green material.

Both robberies remain under investigation.
