Two People Injured, One Seriously, in Weekend Crash Near Bluffton

A 19 year old Lima resident was seriously injured in a two vehicle crash that occurred over the weekend near Bluffton.
According to a release from the Findlay Post of the Ohio State Patrol, Jacob Evans ran a stop sign on Pocono Drive at State Route 103, and his vehicle was struck by an eastbound minivan being operated by Eric Fischnich, age 34 of Jenera.
Evans was transported to Lima Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
Fischnich was taken to St. Rita’s Medical Center with minor injuries.
Neither driver was wearing a seat belt.
The crash remains under investigation.
