Two Injured in Separate Crashes in Union County Tuesday

A Columbus man was injured in a crash that occurred Tuesday morning in Union County.

 

According to the Union County Sheriff’s Office report, 30 year old Elidio Villa lost control of his pickup truck while driving north on State Route 4.

 

The vehicle ended up off the left side of the road where it struck a rock pile causing it to overturn and come to rest after hitting a tree.

 

Villa was transported to Memorial Hospital for treatment of suspected serious injuries.

 

The crash remains under investigation.

A Marysville man was injured in a one vehicle crash that occurred in Union County Tuesday night.

 

According to the report from the Union County Sheriff’s Office, 32 year old Joshua McKinley lost control of his vehicle while driving west on Northwest Parkway.

 

The vehicle crossed the median, struck an embankment and came to rest after striking the guardrail.

 

Heavy damage occurred to the car.

 

McKinley was transported to Memorial Hospital in Marysville with suspected serious injuries.

 

He was cited for failing to maintain reasonable control.
