Two Facing Charges After Traffic Stop in Kenton Sunday

Two people are facing charges after a traffic stop conducted in Kenton Sunday afternoon.
According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers stopped a vehicle in the 400 block of West Columbus Street for a traffic violation.
Officers collected suspected narcotics and drug abuse instruments from the vehicle.
A 28 year old Forest woman and a 31 year old Carey man were listed as suspects.
They are facing a felony count of possession of drugs and a misdemeanor count of possessing drug abuse instruments.
No charges have been filed at this time as the incident remains under investigation.
