Two Drivers Escape Serious Injuries in Fiery Crash in Findlay

Two people were injured in a crash that occurred around 10:10 this morning in Findlay.

According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, 39 year old Dale Giannetto, of Findlay, was stopped for red light on West Front Street, when his vehicle was struck from behind by an eastbound vehicle being driven by 37 year old Michael Warner, of Beaverdam.

After the collision, Giannetto’s van caught fire and was extinguished by the Findlay Fire Department.

Both drivers were taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Warner was cited for an assured clear distance ahead violation.
