Two Arrested in Tennessee in Connection to Marion Shooting

Troopers from the Tennessee Highway Patrol arrested two people in connection to a shooting that occurred in Marion on Wednesday.

 

According to a release, the shooting occurred just before noon in the 600 block of South Prospect Street.

 

The victim, identified as 24 year old D’Shawn U. Barnes, was taken to Riverside Hospital in Columbus. He has since been released.

 

Arrest warrants were issued for 22 year old Samuel Blake Music and 18 year old Madison Awbrey, both of Marion.

 

They were apprehended Wednesday evening in Rocky Top, Tennessee.

 

Music is facing a charge of felonious assault and Awbrey is facing complicity to felonious assault.

 

Extradition details are still being finalized.
