Try Wild Game for the First Time at Table One Restaurant

FINDLAY, OH – Anyone interested in trying wild game for the first time is encouraged to attend a tasting event on Saturday, October 19 according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife.

The Division of Wildlife is partnering with Table One restaurant to provide a unique opportunity to try venison and other wild game. This event is intended for people who have never tasted wild game before. The event begins at 6 p.m. and will be held at the Table One restaurant, located at 1 North Detroit Street, Kenton 43326.

The event is free of charge, however donations to Table One are greatly appreciated. Registration is required by Oct. 17, as space is limited. To register visit https://apps.ohiodnr.gov/wildlife/educationregistration. Please note, this event is for those with little to no experience with eating wild game.

Table One staff will prepare several wild game dishes for participants to sample. Division of Wildlife staff will give a short presentation on hunting, how to get started, local hunting opportunities and will be available to answer any questions.
