Tornado Siren Installed in Ada

A Tornado Siren was installed in the Village of Ada Tuesday.
The $30,000 project will provide an early warning system for all of Ada to include impending severe thunderstorms and tornadoes.
The Federal Signal System is designed to automatically activate upon receiving a signal from the National Weather Service.
The final portion of the installation project consists of system activation.
Once final adjustments are made, Ada residents will hear test runs on the system.
