Three People Injured in Thursday Afternoon Crash

Three people were injured in a three vehicle crash that occurred Thursday afternoon in the 14,000 block of State Route 31 south of Kenton.

According to information from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle driven by Daniel Rizor, of Marysville, failed to stop in time and struck a vehicle being operated by Brittany Rudasill, who was stopped waiting for a car to make a left hand turn.

Rudasill’s vehicle was pushed across the center line and was struck head-on by a vehicle being operated by Tamra Williams, of Kenton.

The car waiting to turn was driven by Klisty Helton, of Kenton and was not involved in a collision.

Three people were transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.

The crash remains under investigation, and citations are pending at this time.

The Hardin County Sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by BKP Ambulance District, Kenton Fire Department, Southeast Hardin Northwest Union Fire Department and Osborn’s Towing.
