The Kenton City School Board of Education Held a Meeting Monday Night

Written by on October 21, 2019

In last night’s meeting cross country Coach Rick Collins informed the board about the progress being made on the cross country course. According to the update the goal is to have the course established before winter.

Superintendent Penczarski also made a note that in the event of a delay the call for a delay will come at around 6 a.m because the cut off for sending busses out is close to 6. If the delay were to be extended to a close that call will be sent out around 8 a.m. However, parents are urged to use their own judgement and if they feel it is unsafe to send their child to school that is their choice to make.

Finally, the Finance Committee mentioned that they are looking at replacing the intercom system in the middle school, and a consulting company has been assigned to the solar project and the estimated start time is in November.

The next Board of Education Meeting will be held on November 18th at 7p.m.
