Small Weekend Fire a Park Shelter House Investigated as Arson

A fire at the shelter house behind the Masonic Temple in Kenton this past Friday night is under investigation.

 

According to information from the Kenton Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched to the area around 10:30 Friday night and found a small trash can underneath the shelter house that was on fire.

 

Damage was listed at around $500 mainly from some of the soffit on the structure that was melted.

 

The Kenton Police Department report listed the fire as arson, and the incident remains under investigation.
