Semi Strikes Utility Pole on SR 53 in Wyandot County Crash

An Illinois truck driver escaped injury in a weekend crash on State Route 53 in Wyandot County.
According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, 35 year old Santiago Medina lost control of the semi while driving north on 53.
The vehicle ended up off the the right side of the road where it struck a utility pole.
Disabling damage occurred to the semi, and it was towed from the scene.
Medina was cited for failure to control.
