Rush Wins Commissioners Race Following Official Canvassing

The Hardin County Board of Elections met Monday for the official canvass of the 2020 Primary Election

According to the results from the Hardin County Board of Elections, Fred Rush finished first in the three man race.

Rush received a total of 1059 votes.

Russ Blue came in second with 984 votes and Alan Long got 864 total votes.

Rush will run unopposed in the November election, as will Roger Crowe, who easily defeated his Primary opponent.

After all qualifying Hardin County ballots were tallied, approval of the Ada School levy gained some support.

430 voted for the tax and 409 voted against the tax in Hardin County.

Factor in the official results from Hancock County, and the levy passed 441 to 427.
