Ridgemont Golden Gophers Varsity cruised to an easy victory over Arcadia 11-1 on Monday
Ridgemont Golden Gophers Varsity fired up the offense in the first inning, when Cassidy Knapp doubled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.
Ridgemont Golden Gophers Varsity scored four runs in the fifth inning. Nikki Freshcorn, Brooke Nelson, and Knapp each had RBIs in the big inning.
Knapp took the win for Ridgemont Golden Gophers Varsity. She went five innings, allowing one run on eight hits, striking out three and walking one.
La Rodriguez took the loss for Arcadia. She went four innings, allowing seven runs on eight hits and striking out seven.
