Coach Aaron Freeze said, "Shelby is a really good team.  I was happy with how we competed at first and second singles against two really good players.  Levi Malone is playing smart tennis right now and he's such a good athlete that he just stays in the match, even when playing against a much more experienced player.  He's really fun to watch right now, even when he loses.  Clay Burger played one of his better matches despite losing.  His opponent was very talented and Clay hung right with him."

JV doubles matches were won by Nick Clark/Kyle Snowden and Kyle Snowden/Keaton Messmer

Coach Aaron Frazee said "A good match with Tiffin.  Like us, they lost a lot of seniors last year, so I wasn't sure what to expect but thought we'd be pretty evenly matched.  I thought that our second doubles played a great match for playing together for the first time.  I like when we can have guys paired up that are the same age/grade because they usually have good chemistry together.  Will and Grant played very well together."
