Lady Rams Beat Bucyrus in Basketball Action Tuesday

 

The Upper Sandusky girls basketball team improved to 13 and 5 overall and 9 and 4 in the N 10 conference following a 66 to 40 win at Bucyrus Tuesday evening.

 

The Lady Rams had three players in double figures led by Abigail Fogle's 19 points, which included three baskets from 3 point range.

 

Upper returns to action Friday night when they will host Mohawk.

U of F Inducting Former Coach Into Hall of Fame

The University of Findlay Athletic Department will enshrine the 1979 Oilers football team and induct former assistant football coach Dean Peas into its Hall of Fame on Jan. 27 at the Winebrenner Theological Seminary.

 

Doors will open at 10:15 a.m. and the induction/luncheon will begin at 11 a.m. The registration fee is $25 for adults, $15 for minors and free for children ages 6 and younger.

Carey Tops US in Girls Basketball Action

 

The Upper Sandusky girls basketball team fell to Carey Tuesday evening by a final of 47 to 29.

 

The Lady Rams were led by Abigail Fogle's 9 points.

 

Upper Sandusky falls to 11 and 3 overall and 7 and 2 in the Northern 10, while Carey improves to 13 and 1 overall and 8 and 1 in the N10.

Lady Rams Overcome Slow Start to Top Eagles

 

The Upper Sandusky Rams survived Colonel Crawford in girls basketball action Tuesday evening by a final of  55 to 43.

 

The Lady Rams got a scare when the Eagles flew out to a 15 to 5 lead after the first quarter.

 

Upper Sandusky returned the favor by taking the second quarter by 11 points for a one point halftime lead.

 

The Rams had three players in double figures, led by Abigail Fogle's 24 points. With that performance, the senior passed Claire Aubry for second on the program's all time scoring list.

 

Upper Sandusky improves to 11 and 2 overall and 7 and 1 in the N 10 conference. They return to action on Tuesday January 16 when they host Carey.

Upper Sandusky Tops Mohawk in Girls Basketball Action

 

The Upper Sandusky girls basketball team improved to 9 and 2 on the season after a 59 to 38 win at Mohawk Thursday evening.

 

The Lady Rams had three players in double figures and were led by Megan Hensel's 19 points.

 

Upper Sandusky is now 5 and 1 in the Northern 10 Conference and will be on the road at Wynford Saturday evening.
