Rams and Falcons Prevail in Girls Basketball Games

 

The Upper Sandusky Lady Rams rolled over Ridgedale 68 to 20 in basketball action Tuesday evening.

 

The Rams had three players in double figures, led by Abigail Fogle's 33 points.

 

The Rams are now 6 and 0 on the season.

 

The Riverdale Lady Falcons improved to 4 and 3 on the season after beating Ada 60 to 43.

 

Lexie Wright poured in 28 points for the Falcons.

ONU Athletes Receive All-Ohio Honors

 

Two Ohio Northern University athletes and a coaching staff recently received Division III All-Ohio honors.

 

Junior All-American Ian McVey has been named Runner of the Year, while Polar Bear head coach Jason Maus and his assistant coaches  were named Coaching Staff of the Year.

 

McVey earned the honor for the first time in his career, while Maus and his staff claimed the award for the second time in the last three seasons.

 

Senior Emily Richards has been named the Div. III All-Ohio Female Runner of the Year for the 2017 season.

 

The senior earned the honor for the first time in her career.

Upper Sandusky Lady Rams Remain Perfect on Season

 

The Upper Sandusky Lady Rams beat Tiffin Columbian 75 to 44 in basketball action Tuesday evening.

 

The Rams had three players in double figures, and were led by Megan Hensel's 24 points, including two from the 3 point line. Abigail Fogel was close behind with 21 points, including 4 shots from downtown. Alexis Fogel had 15 points.

 

The Lady Rams, who will be at Carey this Friday night, are now 4 and 0 on the season.
