Ben Logan took 5th place Thursday at the Ryan Reynolds Invitational at Liberty Hills.
The Raiders shot a 341 finishing behind Bellefontaine and Butler who tied at 332, Lima Shawnee 335, Springfiled Shawnee 335.
The Raiders were led by Will Kenoyer with an 80. He was followed by Ethan Ricketts 85, Garrett Allen 88, and Bryce Loomis with a 90.
Also scoring for the Raiders were Gavin Clay with a 111, and Carter Stewart 117.
Coach Chris Conley said, "I was really proud of the way Will bounced back from his front nine to shoot a 36 on the back. He was playing really well and got a couple bad breaks that cost 6 shots on 2 holes. Bryce Loomis was also a highlight shooting his best 9 of the year scoring a 40. Fifth place doesn't sound that great but we were only 9 away from winning. I think we're making progress and that's the main thing. We'll have a couple days of practice next week to iron out some things."
Ben Logan returns to action Monday at Cherokee Hills in their first nine hole match of the year.
