Finding various stray animals roaming the streets of Kenton is not all that unusual.
Normally though they would be dogs, cats and an occasional raccoon, but a Kenton Police officer located a barnyard animal while on patrol at around 10 Tuesday night.
According to the report, an officer found a sheep on the loose at the intersection of South Detroit and Perry Streets.
The sheep was captured and taken to the dog warden.
The owner has not yet been identified.
