Amy Chiles

When you get up in the morning, who's the voice that keeps you company? It's Amy in the Morning, weekday mornings on WKTN. Amy will bring the news, sports, weather, school delays and cancellations and everything else that you need to know to get you up and keep you going. Amy Chiles has been an employee of WKTN radio since 1971. She is also program and promotions director as well as the continuity director.

Dennis Beverly

Dennis Beverly has been with WKTN radio since 1989, keeping the mid-days lively with news, sports, weather and great music. Dennis host the popular "Oldies For Lunch", weekdays from 12:15 till 1 PM. In addition to his on air duties, Dennis is the news director at WKTN as well as the host of the public affairs program "At Issue."

Chad Spencer

Chad is currently WKTN's Station Manager and got his start in radio in high school at WKTN. He then went on to work for radio stations in Findlay at WKXA and WFIN, as well as in Marion for WMRN, WYNT, and WDIF.

Chad returned in 2010 to work part time at WKTN while working in the CATV industry.
In February of 2017 took on the role as Station Manager for WKTN overseeing the daily operations of WKTN.

Chad is a fan of the Wildcats, Buckeyes, Reds, and Bengals.

WKTN Sports

Local Sports has been feature on WKTN for many, many years. Our broadcast team covers games from Kenton and all Hardin County schools. Tune in to 95.3 FM on game night and hear Jim Homan, Chad Spencer, and Bob Simmons provide you exclusive local coverage!

Holly Layman

Holly Layman Cannode joined the WKTN team in 2012 as the Hardin County Fair Livestock Judging Report correspondent. She currently hosts the Quest Friday Night Tailgate Party and the Football Scoreboard and can be heard reporting on City Council and School Board meetings. She also operates the board for basketball games and the Cleveland Browns broadcasts. In her spare time, Holly owns and operates a candy company called The Sweet Note and is a twice-published author.

Kolt Buchenroth

Kolt Buchenroth is a graduate of Kenton High School, and current freshman at The Ohio State University. He began work at WKTN in 2015. He hosts "The Evening Show" weekdays, the "Saturday Morning Wake Up" and is the station's Agriculture News Director. He also brings you the Ohio State Buckeye football games in collaboration with the Ohio State IMG Sports Network. Kolt is also responsible for the station's website and social media outlets. He is also a freelance photographer, videographer, and musician. Kolt and his family farm beef cattle and horses.

Alex Haushalter


Ryker Drumm

Ryker is a current junior at Ridgemont High school. He began work at WKTN in November of 2017. He can mainly be heard from the evening program to the overnight program. He assists in the running of Ohio State Buckeye football game in collaboration with the Ohio State IMG Sports network, as well as Cleveland Browns football games in collaboration with the Cleveland Browns Radio Network.

Alec Keller

Alec is a Junior at Kenton High School and serves as WKTN’s Intern. He is a member of the Kenton Top Twenty Show Choir, the Kenton High School Band, and has been in musicals and plays in his high school, middle school and elementary school careers. Alec enjoys acting, video games, music, and movies. His passion of music and media is what brought him to want to work at WKTN. Alec operates on air during the overnight porogram.

Rick Dees

American comedic performer, entertainer, and radio personality, best known for the 1976 novelty song "Disco Duck". He is a People's Choice Award recipient, a Grammy-nominated performing artist, and Broadcast Hall of Fame inductee. His internationally syndicated radio show The Rick Dees A/C Countdown is heard Saturday Mornings from ten till noon.

Paul Keels

Browns Radio Network

The Cleveland Browns Radio Network is a radio network which carries coverage of the Cleveland Browns, a professional football team in the NFL. Jim Donovan is the current play-by-play announcer, while Doug Dieken serves as color commentator.

Dick Bartley

Dick Bartley has been a popular American radio disc jockey since June 1969 and hosts several popular syndicated radio shows of the oldies/classic hits genre, including the current Classic Countdown since 1991. Classic Countdown is heard Saturday nights at six on WKTN.

Steve Downes

Steve Downes is an American DJ and voice actor. He is best known for his work as the voice of Master Chief in the popular Halo video game series. He worked as a disc jockey at Los Angeles, California, and hosts the nationally syndicated radio show, "The Classics" heard on WKTN Saturday nights at ten.

Focus on The Family

Jim Daly is an author and broadcaster, president of Focus on the Family and host of the Daily Broadcast, heard by more than 5.5 million listeners a week and honored as 2012 Program of the Year by the National Religious Broadcasters.

Under his leadership, the ministry has reinvigorated its traditional focus on helping couples build strong marriages and raise healthy, resilient kids. Daly and his wife, Jean, have two sons and also serve as foster parents. They live in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

John Fuller is vice president of the Audio division and co-host of the daily "Focus on the Family" radio program. He speaks and writes about family, faith, media and business. John and his wife, Dena, reside in Colorado Springs, Colo., and have six children.
