There will be no services held for Patricia Stephens. It was her wish to be cremated. Burial in Preston Cemetery will take place at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
She died on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Kenton Nursing and Rehab. She was born on May 10, 1931 in Kenton to the late John and Elsie (Kindle) Eikenbary. In June of 1950 she married Curtis Stephens and he preceded her in death on March 1, 2001.
Surviving are a daughter; Victoria (Charles) Cordrey of Gahanna, 2 sons; Joe Stephens of Belle Centre, Doug (Billie) Stephens of Kenton, 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son; Bill Stephens, a daughter-in-law; Linda Stephens, a sister; Lucille Thomly, and 2 grandsons; Joe Stephens and Shawn Metzger.
Patricia was employed as a dietitian for the Hardin Memorial Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Kenton.
In her younger years she enjoyed going to various trapshooting events with her husband. She also enjoyed going on walks and having lunch at McDonalds where she would talk with anyone. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them whenever she could.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
