Past Due Utility Disconnections to Start in Forest July 10

Written by on June 17, 2020

The Village of Forest has received notification from the Ohio EPA that as the stay-at-home order has been lifted and the reopening of businesses, restaurants, retail stores and other establishments has taken place, disconnection of utility services can and will resume on July 10.

Residents who are more than 30 days late and/or more than $150 in arrears will receive additional information with their disconnection notice that will explain how the repayment process will work.

Basically, those residents will be required to pay their entire current monthly bill, plus an additional dollar amount on the past due balance, until the account is current.

If you have any questions regarding the status of your account, contact the village office at 419-273-2500 or email info@villageofforest.com
