Services for Walter G. Spangler will be held at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

He died on October 5th, 2019 at Hardin Hills. He was born on October 22nd, 1949 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Morris and Agnes (Carol) Spangler. He married Celesta Guinn and she preceded him in death in February of 2007.

Surviving are a daughter; Cristina (Aaron) Walters of Cridersville, 3 sons; Kris (Kim)Spangler of Ada, Tim Spangler of Ada, Jody Spangler of Kenton, 4 sisters; Cathy (Roger) Kemmere of Kenton, Shirlene Conley of Richwood, Doris Later of Kenton, Delores (Jim) Kougher of Kenton, 1 brother; Gene (Tonya) Pettit of Kenton, 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 5 brothers; Bill Pettit, Don Pettit, Roger Spangler, Pete Spangler and Jimmy Spangler.

Walter worked as a truck driver. He had been attending the New Birth Living Word Church.

Walter was a life member of the Coon Hunters Club and enjoyed hunting, shooting, fishing and going to garage sales.
