Obituary for Ray E. Musgrave

Ray E. Musgrave age 80 of Forest died Mon. September 30, 2019 at Lima Memorial Hospital. He was born June 10, 1939 in Forest to the late Herman & Martha Ellen (Dible) Musgrave. He married Margret Launder and they later divorced.

He is survived by a daughter Ruth (Mark) Sheldon, TN, a son Ed (JoAnn) Musgrave, Forest, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, a brother H. Dale Musgrave, MA, and a sister Peggy (Gary) Kuhlman, Ottawa. He was preceded in death by a brother Ramon Musgrave.

Mr. Musgrave was a 1958 graduate of Forest High School. He was employed by Wilco in Kenton for 22 years, and later retired from Golden Giant in Kenton. Ray served 46 years on the Forest Jackson Volunteer Fire Department and was assistant fire chief for many years. He was a member of VFW Post 1182 and a past Masonic member. Ray was very involved with the Forest Community, including the Riverdale school system and a third generation volunteer fireman. He enjoyed watching sports, especially football.

A funeral service will be held Fri. October 4, 2019 at 10 AM in the Clark Shields Funeral Home with Pastor Denny Livingston officiating. Interment will follow at Hueston Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thurs. October 3, 2019 from 3-8 PM at Clark Shields Funeral Home.
