Obituary for Norma M. Chatfield

Norma M. Chatfield, 58 of Forest passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Kenton on November 26, 1960 to the late Norman F. and Rita M. (Fisher) Smith.

On September 26, 1987 she married Curtis A. Chatfield and he survives along with two sons; Jesse E. (Kaitlyn) Chatfield and Adam Chatfield. Norma is also survived by her sisters; Theresa M. (Steve) Cannode, Diane M. Smith, a brother, David E. (Pam) Smith, sisters-in-law Collen Clark, Missy (George) Frey, brothers-in-law, Jesse “Butch” Chatfield, Terry Chatfield, John (Jan) Pool, mother-in-law Dorothy Pool and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Pam Chatfield, brothers-in-law Jody Pool and Donnie Pool, father-in-law Edwin “Ed” Pool. Norma was a 1979 graduate of Kenton Senior High School. She then graduated from Lima Tech and Tri-Rivers School of Practical Nursing where earned her LPN Degree.
Norma worked for Hardin Memorial Hospital for 18 years and then for various nursing homes. She enjoyed baking and won awards for her cake decorating.

Visitation for Norma will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 6, 2019 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Fr. William Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
