New Security Measures in Place at Marion City Hall

Written by on June 11, 2020

Marion City Hall now has a security station located on the first floor of the building.

That was put in place earlier this week pursuant to a directive from the Ohio Supreme Court to local court system.

The rear entrance to Marion City Hall, which is the police entrance is now closed off to visitor access and will be an entry point only for employees of the building.

All visitors are required to use the main front entrance.

The security station includes a metal detector for persons entering the building as well as an X-Ray device that will scan bags and personal belongings for the presence of weapons.

All persons entering the building are required to wear a facial covering as well.
