New Police Officer to Start at Wapakoneta Police Department

There will be a new face at the Wapakoneta Police Department beginning later this month.
Deron Prince was hired in August of 2019, and he’s currently finishing up his Basic Peace Officer Training course at The Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy in Columbus. He will graduate at the end of this month.
He is a graduate from Batavia High School and he served in the United States Air Force from June 2006 until January 2019 and is still enlisted as a Reservist at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
Price was a member of the Security Forces while serving in The United States Air Force and he has received an associates degree in Criminal Justice through American Military University.
