More Businesses Report Counterfeit Money Used on Tuesday

Three more incidents of counterfeit money being used were reported to Kenton Police on Tuesday.

 

According to the reports, counterfeit $100 bills were used at Subway, Kroger and Family Dollar.

 

In the Kroger incident, employees marked the bill with the counterfeit pen and the bill marked as good.

 

The employees still felt the money was counterfeit, and the suspect left with the bill.

 

There were also incidents that occurred Monday in Kenton and Mt. Victory.

 

Authorities have a description of the suspect as well as a picture captured from a store camera in Mt. Victory.

 

All incidents remain under investigation.
