Written by on November 18, 2019

A Michigan woman is facing felony drug charges after troopers from the Ohio State Highway patrol conducted a traffic stop in Hancock County earlier this month.

According to a release, troopers stopped a 2019 Ford Fusion for a speed violation on Interstate 75.

While interacting with the driver, troopers detected the odor of raw marijuana coming from the vehicle, and a probable cause search revealed contraband.

23 grams of marijuana, 80 ecstasy pills, 6.5 grams of powdered ecstasy, and 376 milliliters of liquid codeine worth approximately just over $3200 were seized from the vehicle.

The driver, 32 year old Constance L. Harrison, of Flint, Michigan, was incarcerated in the Hancock County Jail and charged with possession of ecstasy, a second-degree felony.

If convicted, she could face up to eight years in prison and up to a $15,000 fine.
