Marion County Man Sentenced on Aggravated Robbery Charge

A man in Marion County was sentenced recently on a charge of aggravated robbery.
Marion County Prosecutor Ray Grogan announced that James Tobin plead guilty to, and was sentenced for, Aggravated Robbery, a Felony of the First Degree
The case dates back to March 12, 2019, when Tobin and his co-defendant Christopher Spicer attacked the victim inside a vehicle in a parking lot in the City of Marion and stole the victim’s money.
Tobin possessed a knife and brandished it during the attack. The victim suffered injuries to his face, arm and hand.
Judge Warren Edwards sentenced Tobin to four years in prison.
