Coach Aaron Frazee said, “We do not see a better singles lineup than what St. Pete’s has. They are a very strong team and their boys play really smart tennis. But at the same time, our boys benefit from playing those types of players. I’m glad that Henrich and Hecker are finally seniors so we don’t have to battle them anymore. They both probably have a really good shot at making it out of the Sectional tournament.  Our 2nd doubles team of Mewhorter and Snowden played really well tonight and are starting to hit their stride at the right time. Bower and Hill were able to get the win, but are so streaky right now, that it’s hard to know what we’re going to get from them night-to-night. When they’re playing well, they’re pretty good, and they were good at the right time tonight.”
