Man Rescued After Car Stalls on Flooded Road in Wyandot County

An Upper Sandusky man was rescued when his vehicle stalled out in water on County Highway 29 Sunday afternoon in Wyandot County.

 

According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to the area to investigate a report that a vehicle with one occupant was stuck in the water.

 

The deputy arrived and observed Zachary M. Stover standing on the hood of the vehicle in the middle of the flooded roadway.

 

The Sycamore Fire and Water Rescue squad arrived and was able to get Stover back to land.

 

He said that he didn’t see the water in time to stop.

 

There were no injuries.
