Man Facing Criminal Trespassing Charges in Wyandot County

A man was arrested and is facing several charges following a theft reported to the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office Monday.

 

According to the report, a deputy investigated an incident where a suspect entered a home in the 19,000 block of State Highway 67 in Upper Sandusky and stole $200 in cash.

 

It was discovered that the suspect, whose image was captured on a surveillance camera, had forced his way into a nearby vacant home owned by a Cleveland man. The deputy found evidence that the suspect had been living there.

 

50 year old Chad Alan Thomas was identified as the suspect, and he was arrested.

 

Thomas is being held on three counts of criminal trespassing and is also facing possible parole violation charges as well.

 

The incident remains under investigation.
