A celebration of life for LoVanda Culver will begin at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at her son Kelly’s Home, 6298 County Road 130, Kenton, OH 43326. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

She died on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima. She was born on February 16, 1945 in Hardin County to the late Kellie and Dorothy (Thornsbury) Bailey. On November 26, 1965 She married Freeman Culver and they later divorced.

Surviving are a son; Kelly (Sharon) Culver of Kenton, a sister; Oma Parkins of McGuffey, 3 brothers; John Henry (Norma) Bailey of McGuffey, William (Sharon) Bailey of McGuffey, Paul Bailey of Alger, 4 grandchildren; Mitchell Cox, Kacey Culver, Jasmine (Alex) Collins, Abby (Zion) Culver, a great-granddaughter; Isla Collins and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son; Charles “Chuck” Culver, a sister; Marilyn Wilson, 2 brothers; Kellie Bailey Jr, and Timothy Joby Bailey.

LoVanda retired from Wilson’s Sporting Goods and ONU Sodexho in Ada.

She was a member of the County Line Church of Brethren in Harrod.

She enjoyed making jewelry and spending time with her family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
