The Mary Lou Johnson Hardin County District Library in Kenton will be hosting a Solar Eclipse Viewing party on Monday August 21.

Residents are invited to be at the library starting around 12:30. The eclipse starts just after one in the afternoon and will be at its maximum at 2:30 and end just before 4.

The library is offering free viewing glasses and will serve cake, coffee and tea.

We want to see your pictures of the celestial event, make sure you upload those on wktn.com. Remember to take photos only when using the proper safety equipment for yourself and your camera.
