About 900 Lima City Schools elementary students caught a glimpse of life on the farm Tuesday during the eighth annual Farm Day at South Science and Technology Magnet School.
According to the Lima News, The day provided students with hands-on experiences that introduced them to the world of agriculture. For many students, it is something they have never seen up close.
Students also learned about farming, gardening, caring for animals, conservation, and much more.
Elida FFA members helped the younger students with the small animals and how to handle them.
