Columbus Man Charged Following Traffic Stop in Upper Sandusky

 
A Columbus man is facing drug related charges following a routine traffic stop in Upper Sandusky Sunday evening.
 
According to the report from the Upper Sandusky Police Department, officers stopped a car because of a window tint violation. During the stop, officers suspected illegal contraband may be in the vehicle and a subsequent search turned up marijuana.
 
The driver, identified as Dquan Smith, was then charged with possession of marijuana and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle.
