Lima Shawnee Defeats KMS Wrestlers

After giving up seven uncontested matches, Kenton Middle School wrestlers fell to Lima Shawnee 12-70.
Kenton wrestlers that came away with a win were Anthony Hunt, Landen Elliott and Aaron Modd. Hunt defeated Donavyn Campbell by 10-3 decision at the 92 lb weight class. Elliott pinned Levi Lightle at 98 lbs and Modd beat Austin Horn in a close 6-5 match at 110 lbs. Kenton wrestlers finish the regular season tonight at Elida.
Wrestlers will then be trying to qualify for the OAC Junior High State Tournament by competing at the district meet this weekend at Oregon Clay High School.
