Lewis E. Latham, 88 of Kenton

A graveside service for Lewis E. Latham will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at the Grove Cemetery Committal Building in Kenton. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

He died on Monday, June 22, 2020 at Vancrest Nursing Home in Ada. Lewis was born on September 27, 1931 in Kenton to the late Kyle and Opal (Fewell) Latham. On July 12, 1952 he married Joanne R. McKinley in Santa Barbara, California and she preceded him in death on July 16, 2018.

Surviving are daughter; Terri (Stephen) McCullough, a son; Tirey (Connie) Latham, grandchildren; Dustin (Annah) McCullough, Morgan (Andre’) Miller, Lewis Latham, and a great-grandson; Reed McCullough.

He was preceded in death by a daughter; Tammy Latham, and his 2 brothers; Carey and Hank Latham.

Lewis graduated from Kenton High School and served in the United States Army. He was a lifelong farmer in Goshen Township. He managed Tri County Gas and drove his semi truck for Oborn Lumber Company and Maxline Express. He also was one of the founding members of the Hardin COunty Mounted Posse. He loved his family, farming, and tractor pulling.

Memorial donations may be made to the Bridgeport Church or Vancrest of Ada Activities Fund.
