Graveside services for Lauren Fredrick Dirmeyer will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Dola Cemetery with Pastor Gregg King officiating. Masks are encouraged but not mandatory.

He died at 5:00 am on Friday, August 14, 2020. He was born on February 01, 1925 in Dola, Ohio to the late Fred and Minnie (Willeke) Dirmeyer. On November 10, 1950 he married Dorthy Jean Eibling and she preceded him in death on July 05, 2015.

Surviving are 2 sons, David William (Chris) Dirmeyer of Sarasota, FL and Duane (Penny) Dirmeyer of Dola; 4 grandchildren, Devin (Lauren Hadad) Dirmeyer of Sarasota, Florida, Drew (Felicia) Dirmeyer of Sarasota, FL, Nathan Dirmeyer of Dola, and Matthew (Erin Kimmet) of Dola. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Jackie (Tom) Bartels of Kenton, Russell (Margie) Ruppright of Findlay, Jane Ruppright of Dola, and Frank Berry of Findlay, and many great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by  2 sisters, Hazel (Paul) Casper, Opal (Orville) Ruppright, and nephew, Orville Ruppright Jr. and niece, Karen Berry.

Lauren farmed since he was a young boy for 90 + years in Dola. He took a great deal of pride in farming. He loved his family, ice cream, and driving to Florida and Arizona.

He was a member of Bridgeport Church, Washington Grange, and Farm Bureau, he also was a Washington Twp Trustee for 12 years.
